Trip preview:
You may have heard the saying: “The Extreme Trip is Extremely Extreme!” Well, this year’s trip exemplifies that statement! Like crazy whitewater? How about 5 hours and 11 miles of dam release class IV-V whitewater in four man rafts on the infamous Upper Youghiogheny in Maryland….and that is just our first event!!! (a more controlled class II-IV raft trip on the lower Youghiogheny is also an option). How about 6 hours of spelunking (crawling, climbing, hiking) up to 45 stories down that even requires rappelling! From there we take a road trip to a place where you can coast in a car from a dead stop UPHILL (you’ll have to see it to believe it!). Then we go back in time to experience the Civil War at Gettysburg National Military Park up close and personal. Afterward we will visit the covered bridges of Lancaster, PA ‘cause that’s a thing in Lancaster, then see the Poconos, an old growth forest, dozens of beautiful waterfalls, have an unusual rock climbing adventure and see mountains and deep valleys while hiking to our hearts content. So whether you’re new to the Extreme Trip, an old pro, or somewhere in between, by coming along for the ride you will have joined an elite group and will live your life going forward in a whole new way. Nothing can take these experiences away from you. Come and enjoy the thrills, the spills, the revelry, the campfires, and the camaraderie among a certain kind of unusual people the Extreme Trip breeds – overcomers. You’re invited…GET PREPARED, and Be There… Bonzaiii!!!!!!
